Dewey Haley has a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercer University School of Medicine, in addition to undergraduate degrees from Chadron State University and the College of Southern Idaho. He is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. and has his State of North Carolina Associate License. He is a certified trainer for the Hate Crime Prevention Program and a certified Mediator. At Host Homes, Dewey provides individual, family and group therapy, with a focus on cases from Juvenile Court Counselors and other resources involved with at-risk youth.

Valeria Greene earned her BS in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. At Host Homes, Valeria is the Licensor/Safe Place/Volunteer Coordinator. She recruits, trains, licenses and re-licenses foster families in the program. Valeria provides orientation for new Safe Place sites, monitors on-going participation, ensures community awareness of Safe Place locations and coordinates our Special Friends Mentoring Programs.
